JEZ_Rego is slow
« on: June 26, 2010, 07:35:02 AM »
Hello,

I use the JEZ_Rego template and i like it a lot.
But it is slow in it's startup. After that, it is fast enough.

What could be the couse of this?

I used other Joomla templates before, but they are fast in the startup of the website.

Kind regards,
Peter

Hello pieterpost,

Thank you very much for choosing our template.

Please open up the file your-joomla-location/templates/jez_rego/params.ini with a text editor. If that file is empty then login to your Joomla admin panel and navigate to Extensions -> Template Manager. Then in the template listing page, click JEZ_Rego. Wait for the template parameter editing page to complete loading then click the Save button at the very top of that page.

Now, please re-visit your Joomla frontend to see if the loading speed is improved or not.

Hello

Unfortunately it didn't help.
Even though the params.ini is not empty.
Could it be slow when this file has to much information in it?

kind regards,
Peter

No.

If you have purchased the Pro version of our template, please send our dedicated support team (support at joomlaez dot com) an email requesting them to access your site and determine where the problem is for you.
