What do you think about the CSS base and the usability... is Thema an alternative or different in some way ( besides the price tag ;-) i guess ) ?
I read they are using the YUI CSS grid... what is your base system?
I haven't got any change to try Morph yet (as it is not already released) so i can't tell you exactly what the difference between Thema and Morph is.
However, after reading thru Morph's introduction, i see that it is look like an alternative for Thema.
Concerning the CSS base, Morph is using YUI grid library while Thema is included with an in-house, easy to understand and implement CSS framework (including both typography and grid-based layout) which we develop to best fit Joomla specific layout.
At this development state, basing on Thema to create new unique Joomla 1.5 template requires a little more manual works than what introduced in Morph. But when Morph is publicly available, Thema will also be updated to automate almost all new template creation tasks (please take a look at our
Thema development roadmap for more details).
In additional, Morph look like a template generator component while Thema is just a base Joomla 1.5 template with everything except graphical design already ompleted is the professional way.
